Mason, OH, publicly traded Cintas, has acquired an Alden, NY based, uniform provider, Doritex Corp., whose solutions also include branded corporate image apparel and custom embroidery. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cintas executive vice president & COO, Todd Schneider, “Although our two companies have been competitors over the years in this market, Cintas has a lot of respect for Doritex’s history and heritage, for the way they take care of their customers and for the way they live out their values.”

Cintas completed the purchase of family-owned Doritex on Jan. 17. And as per the sources, all Doritex industrial workers will be hired by Cintas, and will continue serving customers from the same facility at 11980 Walden Ave.

Todd further said, “We believe there is a lot of common ground between our two companies that will allow us to build a strong foundation for a very successful future.”

Jim Doro, now the former owner of Doritex, said, “After a comprehensive search, Cintas emerged as the best steward for Doritex’s industrial business.”
